Products & boards

End-grain wooden boards

“End-grain” refers to the way these boards are constructed, whereby the fibres of the wood face upwards to make up the cutting surface. If you take cooking seriously, then you need a board that is sturdy, safe for food preparation, reliable and easy to clean and maintain. What if this board is also very pleasing to the eye and kind to your knives? Our end-grain chopping boards meet all these criteria and more. The ‘self-healing’ properties of end-grain wood allow for long-lasting use and fewer knife marks. This is why they are, without any doubt, the best ones on the market.

Face-Grain Wooden Boards

The chopping board’s surface is the face-side of wood, making it better at showing-off the natural wood grain. Face-grain boards are ideal for general light food preparation. It is just as strong and durable as the end-grain board, but can be more prone to knife marks, although the regular use of mineral oil will help reserve its beauty and shine.
